AI Assistant Integration (MCP)
Qubi integrates with AI assistants like Claude, ChatGPT, and others through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). This means you can ask about your deals, meetings, contacts, and knowledge base without leaving your AI assistant.
Think of it as having Ask Qubi available wherever you work with AI.
What You Can Do
With the Qubi MCP integration, your AI assistant gets direct access to your Qubi data:
| Capability | What to ask | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Ask Qubi | Any sales intelligence question | "What objections came up in calls with Acme?" |
| Search meetings | Find and explore past calls | "Show me meetings where we discussed pricing last month" |
| Search deals | Pipeline and CRM data | "What's the status of the TechCorp renewal?" |
| Search contacts | People and participant profiles | "Who is the decision-maker at Globex?" |
| Search knowledge base | Internal docs, playbooks, battlecards | "What's our onboarding process for enterprise customers?" |
How to Connect
Qubi provides a hosted MCP server — no local installation required. You connect your AI assistant directly to Qubi's endpoint, authenticate with your Qubi account, and you're ready to go.
Claude Desktop
- Open Claude Desktop
- Go to Settings → MCP Servers → Add
- Enter the Qubi server URL:
https://mcp.getqubi.com/mcp - Claude will open a browser window to sign in with your Qubi account (OAuth)
- After authenticating, restart Claude Desktop
- You should see a hammer icon (🔨) in the chat input — click it to confirm that Qubi tools are listed
Other MCP-Compatible Clients
Any AI assistant that supports the Model Context Protocol can connect to Qubi:
- Point your MCP client to:
https://mcp.getqubi.com/mcp - The client will walk you through OAuth authentication with your Qubi account
- Once authenticated, five Qubi tools become available
Check your AI assistant's documentation for MCP support. The protocol is being adopted by more tools every month.
Verify the Connection
Once connected, you should see five Qubi tools available in your AI assistant:
- ask_qubi — Full sales intelligence queries
- search_participants — Find contacts and participants
- search_opportunities — Search CRM deals
- search_meetings — Browse meeting summaries
- search_knowledge_base — Search internal docs
If you don't see these tools, try disconnecting and reconnecting, or restart your AI assistant.
Example Conversations

Tips for Best Results
- Be specific: "What pricing concerns did Acme raise in our last discovery call?" works better than "Tell me about Acme"
- Name the company or contact: Qubi can search more accurately when you mention specific names
- Ask follow-ups: After Qubi returns initial results, ask your AI assistant to analyze, compare, or summarize further — it can combine Qubi data with its own reasoning
- Combine with other tasks: You can ask your AI assistant to draft an email based on Qubi's meeting summary, or prepare a deck outline using deal data
Your AI assistant will only use Qubi tools when your question is about sales data. For general questions, coding help, or writing tasks, it will respond normally without querying Qubi.
Privacy & Security
- The MCP integration uses the same authentication and permissions as your Qubi web account
- Your AI assistant can only access data you have permission to see in Qubi
- Queries are processed through Qubi's secure backend — your data is never stored by the AI assistant
- OAuth 2.0 with PKCE is used for authentication when connecting via the remote server
Troubleshooting
Tools don't appear in your AI assistant
- Verify the server URL is correct:
https://mcp.getqubi.com/mcp - Restart your AI assistant completely (quit and reopen)
- Try removing and re-adding the Qubi MCP server connection
"No results found" for queries
- Make sure your Qubi account has recorded meetings and CRM data
- Try broader search terms, then narrow down
- Verify your account has access to the relevant knowledge spaces
Authentication errors
- Your session may have expired — disconnect and reconnect to re-authenticate
- Confirm you're signing in with the same email you use for Qubi
